Resonate is a contemporary Christian worship event, primarily for young people which takes place on the last Sunday of every month, September to June, in Seagoe Parish Centre, Portadown.
The vision behind it was to create a relaxed but reverent setting where young people of all denominations, and none, could unite in worship and praise and where they could receive quality teaching which would ground them in their faith and challenge them in all aspects of their Christianity.
Our desire for the young people who attend Resonate is that they will come to know God intimately and that they would express this love for him through heart felt praise and worship with real liberty and freedom and in spirit and truth. We wish to work in tandem with local Churches and encourage those who attend to serve God through their own Church whilst promoting unity in the body of Christ and hoping to encourage a servant attitude and a Kingdom mindset as with our connection and support of initiatives such as Xpression, the 24/7 Prayer Room, Edenderry C.E, etc.
We have seen God move in a very real and powerful way at times at Resonate and have been privileged to be a part of the spiritual development of many young people over the past five years. We have felt God's touch and presence on numerous occasions and have been humbled by Him as he has taken our efforts of planning and programming and given them His special 'touch'. At times we have felt especially blessed with a sense of God 'in the midst' and with a deep sense of love and fellowship.
We pray that God would continue to use Resonate for his will and purpose in the spiritual development of the young people in Portadown, and beyond, and that we would continue to receive the support and blessing of many of our local Churches.
